Odd Ducks

After a total of over 200 years in the music business, the Odd Ducks' five drakes have a rather sobering record. No Bentleys in the garage, no bodyguards at the front door, no squandered millions, not even a trashed hotel room ... BUT NOW ... the pension needs to be topped up, the cottage needs to be renovated to suit the age group and the physical deterioration caused by too much TV and potato chips needs to be prevented. There also need to be a few good stories for the grandchildren.
So the old denim jacket was tightened at the shoulders and widened at the waist, the dust was blown off the instruments and the rehearsal room was cleared out.
The result is an entertaining stroll through 50 years of pop and rock music.
The Odd Ducks formed in the summer of 2019 and were initially slowed down by the start of the coronavirus pandemic. Initially planned as a pure cover project, since spring 2020 and after a few line-up changes, the repertoire no longer consists solely of songs by other artists, but has been supplemented by the band's own material.
The band attaches particular importance to the fact that the selected titles not only fit well into the repertoire, but, although perhaps no longer quite contemporary, can also be played "handmade". The band's program includes songs by the Lovin' Spoonful, Peter Gabriel, Hooters, Beatles, Rolling Stones and many more.
