[Off-ICMC] Installationen und Performances: Transition | Tension | Potential
In the organizer's words:
At the transition between platforms 3 and 4 in Harburg's long-distance train station, the Kunstverein Harburger Bahnhof 's display cases show materials and objects in a state of flux. They do not show finished forms, but processes and contradictions.
The work is selectively supplemented by sound and performative contributions. The focus is on tension, transitions and what arises between things and in situations and how it changes our perception.
Marlene Behrmann (concept and realization). The work is inspired by transdisciplinary projects and artistic and scientific research as part of the Sustainable Theater Lab at ligeti zentrum.
About the ICMC & Off-ICMC
The International Computer Music Conference (ICMC) is coming to Hamburg-Harburg. Every year for over 50 years, artists, musicians and scientists from all over the world have come together at the ICMC to explore the interplay between music and digital technologies. The Off-ICMC will take place from 11 to 16 May 2026: the free accompanying program on the topic of "Music in our digital age".
Selected concerts, workshops and installations from the conference are also open to the public!
