[Off-ICMC] Interaktive Installation: Anouk Kellner – Airchoir inter/reactive

In the organizer's words:

The walk-in sound installation Airchoir consists of eight inflatable bodies that breathe in and out like living lungs. They make their voices audible through the organ pipes to which they are connected. Like a choir, they come together to form a multi-layered sound field that constantly changes with the movement of the visitors.

Anouk Kellner

Anouk Kellner creates sound installations, compositions, field recordings and sound documentations. She works experimentally with textures. Focusing on themes such as sound economy and nostalgia, she takes the listener into the soundscapes she creates, in which the sense of time is lost. Her most recent works often revolve around the pipe organ. This interest is also evident in The Airchoir project.

Frequency__ @ Off-ICMC

The event is a cooperation between the ligeti zentrum and the Frequenz Festival in Kiel.
Since 2018, Frequenz__ has been bringing experimental music and audiovisual art to the people. Following the Frequenz Festival in Kiel, they will present three exciting productions in Harburg.

About the ICMC & Off-ICMC

The International Computer Music Conference (ICMC) is coming to Hamburg-Harburg. Every year for over 50 years, artists, musicians and scientists from all over the world have come together at the ICMC to explore the interplay between music and digital technologies. The Off-ICMC will take place from 11 to 16 May 2026: the free accompanying program on the topic of "Music in our digital age".

Selected concerts, workshops and installations from the conference are also open to the public!
