Öffentliche Führung: Lia Darjes. Plates I-XXXI

In the work of photographer Lia Darjes, garden tables are designed into a still life after a meal. The camera remained behind as a passive observer for a few hours or whole days and was triggered by the presence of animals. The organizing Friedrich-Hundt-Gesellschaft e.V. (FHG) invites you to a public guided tour of the current photography exhibition at the Stadtmuseum Münster on Saturday, 18 April at 4.00 pm. FHG Managing Director Katharina Tiemann will guide visitors through the photographs of the Hamburg-based artist.

The Friedrich-Hundt-Gesellschaft e. V. is presenting Lia Darje's series "Plates I-XXXI", for which the artist leaves her garden table to nature for hours or even days after a meal - sometimes filled to the brim, sometimes with a single, sliced melon. A camera, triggered by animals, captures the unfolding events. The fascination of the resulting photographs lies in the fact that the staged and the accidental are united in one image.

The exhibition can be found on the second floor of the Stadtmuseum Münster. The exhibition was organized by the Friedrich-Hundt-Gesellschaft e.V. in the Stadtmuseum Münster and can be seen until 26 April . The cost for participation is five euros, reduced three euros. The number of places is limited. The meeting point is the museum foyer.
