Currently, students at Bremerhaven University of Applied Sciences, accompanied by the DSM, are carrying out a film project in which historical perspectives on the connection between museum development and maritime structural change are to be linked with current questions and evaluations of these processes in order to initiate a museum and social assessment of the value of these transformation experiences and thus also have an impact on the future.
As part of the film project, material research was carried out in the DSM archive as well as interviews with contemporary witnesses and filmed discussions with stakeholders. A filmed workshop will incorporate further perspectives. These will be moderated by the DSM, but captured in a highly participatory workshop. The workshop should reveal wishes for the future and content-related evaluations based on four different objects. Ideally, young and old players from BHV and the surrounding area will come together in the small groups involved. Students of the BHV University of Applied Sciences and members of the sponsoring association should be approached for this purpose.
