„Ohne Worte“ - die Kunst des Unausgesprochen - Contemporary Art von Anja Ernberger

Buxtehude. Immerse yourself in a world where gestures, colors and shapes speak, where the senses communicate without the aid of language - this is what artist Anja Ernsberger invites you to do with her exhibition "without words" from Sunday, November 9 to Sunday, December 14 in the Marschtorzwinger. The opening will take place on Saturday, November 8, at 3 p.m. with words from Deputy Mayor Christian Krüger and the artist herself.
"This exhibition is dedicated to my son Oskar, who is autistic and lives non-verbally," says the artist. "The title 'without words' is a tribute to those worlds that we often cannot put into words, but which are nevertheless just as real and full of expressive power."
In this exhibition, the artist explores the deep, often elusive dimensions of human perception and communication - particularly from the perspective of her personal experience as the mother of an autistic son.
In the series of works shown in the exhibition, "Playground" and "head & hands", Ernsberger brings together two central aspects of the reality of her son Oskar's life: his special sensory perception and his non-verbal way of expressing himself.
The artist invites us to engage with these quiet but deeply felt forms of expression - as an appeal for more empathy, consideration and understanding towards "otherness".
