OJAM emerged from a Munich collective of artists and musicians and unites a wide variety of musical styles. Five friends who bring their musical roots together with passion and humor. Oliver Angelo Spagna, hobby pizza chef and chest hair icon on the mic and acoustic guitar, Tobi Nuspl, failed IT entrepreneur, now percussion, pseudo-diploma guitar, Tobi Schmidt, electric guitar, pseudo-diploma guitar. Tobi Schmidt, electric guitar, 60 year old Thailand tourist Jan Kahlert, percussion and a guy called Dungee, bass - stand for diversity and a concentrated portion of joy of playing.

With their new album "Stupid Animal" (release in spring 2026), OJAM show that they are more than just a jam session: a mix of psychedelic funk, rock, global grooves, dub and lots of energy. No new territory for the "boys" - their past with Sorgente, Les Babacools or Amon Düül II has already taken them on tour with the likes of Pink, Gentleman and the Fun Lovin' Criminals and to festival stages with Lenny Kravitz, Jimmy Cliff and many others. The sound of the five musicians is handmade: two guitars, bass, big and small drummers meet analog tape machines, effects and multi-instrumental choirs.
