Oldenburg auf dem Weg zur nachhaltigen Gemeinschaftsverpflegung - Einladung zur Vollversammlung des Ernährungsrats Oldenburg

The Oldenburg Nutrition Council invites you to a plenary meeting on Thursday, November 27, 2025, from 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. under the motto "From the field to the tray - Oldenburg on the way to sustainable communal catering in canteens and cafeterias". The event will take place at Forum St. Peter, Peterstraße 22-26, in Oldenburg.

The focus will be on the question of how sustainable, regional and fair nutrition can be organized in canteens and cafeterias in Oldenburg and the surrounding area. In addition to a review of the developments and projects of the past year, the plenary meeting offers space for exchange, co-design and networking.

A special item on the program is the presentation by Philipp Stierand from Kantine Zukunft in Berlin. He will report on the successful transformation of communal catering in Berlin - an example that shows how good food and sustainability can go hand in hand in public kitchens.

The Food Council will also be presenting its current projects, including various educational programs and the EAT project for designing sustainable out-of-home catering and BiOLogisch for establishing regional value chains.

The plenary meeting is also a place for co-determination: the Food Council's coordination committee is elected every two years. This committee decides on strategic directions and new initiatives. All attendees are entitled to vote. Anyone who would like to get involved in the coordination committee can contact the Food Council office and stand for election.

The subsequent buffet will provide an opportunity for discussion, exchange and networking with committed people, farmers, cooks and other interested parties from the region.

Participation is free of charge, registration is not required.
