What does Hamburg think about a possible bid for the Olympic and Paralympic Games? What opportunities and challenges do people in the city see?
These questions are the focus of the series of events "Olympic and Paralympic Games in Hamburg: Participate, discuss, shape" with citizen dialogues in November. The aim is to talk together about ideas, opportunities and expectations and to obtain a broad range of opinions on whether and how Hamburg should bid for the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
The big kick-off event "Olympic and Paralympic Games in Hamburg - Join in, get involved!" will take place on November 1, 2025 from 11:30-18:30 at HafenCity University (Henning-Voscherau-Platz 1, 20457 Hamburg).
A day full of inspiration, discussions and encounters: Moderated by Anke Harnack and Michel Abdollahi, the kick-off event offers space for information, discussion and exchange. Look forward to inspiring talks, hands-on stations, creative activities and artistic contributions - an open forum for your thoughts, questions and visions for Hamburg's Olympic and Paralympic Games.
