One Breath around the Sun

Mara Hache

The contemporary dance piece One Breath around the Sun explores a continuous movement that starts from letting go of tension: from opening up, from letting ourselves be touched - by ourselves, our fellow human beings and our surroundings.

At the center is the discovery of a dance movement that goes on and on - just like life itself. How can we flow within a structure without perceiving it as a limitation? And how does the flow itself change this structure? An exciting game unfolds between chaos and order. Viewed from the perspective of the sun, the cycles of life are reflected.

For her first full-length production, choreographer Mara Hache brings five professional and a number of non-professional dancers together on stage in the hall of E-WERK Freiburg in November 2025.
