The hemp plant has more than 150 active ingredients, the most common of which are THC (tetra-hydro-cannabinol) and CBD (cannabidiol). How do they work in the brain and body and why is it worth knowing the key facts? What risks are associated with cannabis use, especially in adolescence, and how can we inform young people without patronizing them? The World of Temptation Foundation addresses these questions in its third exhibition ONLY GOOD VIBES? in a mix of fact-based science and art that offers freedom. It also shows what can make you relaxed, strong and perhaps even happy away from temptation.
Just over a year after partial legalization,ONLY GOOD VIBES? offers a multi-perspective view of the topic of cannabis and invites visitors to join in the discussion. The exhibition translates the neuroscientific effects of cannabis on the brain and body in a compact and comprehensible way, explores the myth and reality of the hemp plant and sheds light on motives, rituals and risks. She shows why young people up to the age of 25 in particular should be empowered and well informed and why the protection of minors is urgent. It also takes the opportunity to discuss how society deals with the substances that are legal in Germany - nicotine, alcohol and cannabis - together with young and old.
In ONLY GOOD VIBES?, as in previous exhibitions, the World of Temptations Foundation combines the latest scientific findings with art and interactive installations.
