During the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich, Palestinian terrorists attack the Israeli team's quarters and take the athletes hostage. The film tells the story from the point of view of the journalists from the US broadcaster ABC, who report on the kidnapping. The result is a chamber drama-like thriller about an exceptional journalistic situation that also raises questions about the moral responsibility of the media.
