"Operas in Bavarian" celebrates its 40th stage anniversary! Since 1985, the successful production has been a permanent fixture on the repertoire throughout Bavaria and is known far beyond the borders of Bavaria, also thanks to the already legendary trio with Conny Glogger, Gerd Anthoff and Michael Lerchenberg. It has simply become cult to experience opera classics in a different way: Classics of opera literature and original dialect verses merge into an extremely entertaining treat full of wit and passion.

Opera in Bavarian - a highly amusing and entertaining evening of opera with a difference, guaranteed to leave no dry eye in the house. This season, the Prinzregententheater will once again be hosting celebrity support: cult cabaret artist Helmut Schleich, the "Emperor of Schexing" Dieter Fischer and the "Queen of Cabaret" Monika Gruber!
