Saskia Fischer's artistic training began in 2010 at the Folkwang University of the Arts. This was followed by periods at Goldsmiths University of London, summer schools in Riga, Tallinn, Valeria and Prague, as well as graduating as a master student of the Weißenhof program at ABK Stuttgart. Her artistic practice focuses on the relationship between landscape and identity, incorporating individual as well as collective and social levels. Fischer's artistic practice is located in the field of tension between film, sculpture, performance and projects in public space.
