This time, the program offers a very special attraction: between the three main works for strings, namely Henry Purcell's dramatically gripping "Abdelazer Suite", Johann Sebastian Bach's famous Brandenburg Concerto No. 6 and the lively String Symphony in G major by Bach's son Carl Philipp Emanuel, selected soprano arias by various Baroque composers are interwoven, creating a varied, colourful and multi-faceted sound experience. For the vocal part, the Ventuno Orchestra was able to win over the well-known soprano Laura Demjan, whose bright, touching and at the same time virtuoso voice forms a wonderful contrast to the sometimes rather dark and polyphonic string sounds.
