Founded back in 1970 and still at the cutting edge: the Senegalese orchestra Baobab has always been one of the most exciting groups in the triangle between jazz, Afro-pop, soul and Cuban sounds.

You can look forward to a rich and intense rhythmic basis, captivating melodic vocals and great brass arrangements. Baobab's sound is indeed intact, a unique blend of Afro-Cuban style, international pop and traditional griot music. Their creativity is always driven by fabulous melodies that have made Orchestra Baobab's reputation!

We are looking forward to a reunion with the legendary Orchestra Baobab on 20.11.25 at the Knust.
