Lecture by Julia Finkernagel

Today it's time to dress warmly: Backpacking journalist Julia Finkernagel, known from the successful TV series, is coming to the store for an "OSTWÄRTS" make-of! Come with the Trans-Siberian Railway into the Russian winter, from magnificent Moscow to the snow-white solitude of Siberia.

Julia talks about the filming of her big Transsib report, for which she tested various trains on the Trans-Siberian Railway network - sometimes in a shared sleeping car, but also in true tsarist style. On board are the shrewd Russian Anatoly and cameraman Michael. Along the way, she gets out to meet the locals and explore life in the Siberian winter. In her inimitable style, Julia Finkernagel talks about her experiences during filming and various funny situations that (for reasons) didn't make it onto television. She will also show pictures and film clips and read passages from her Spiegel bestseller "Immer wieder Ostwärts - Oder wie man in der Transsibirischen Eisenbahn duscht, ohne seasrank zu werden".
Of course, she will also sign the book.
