After the sudden and cruel death of her tyrannical mother, Alice returns to the empty family home. Nothing has changed here since her escape as a teenager. Except that a sophisticated surveillance system now follows her every move and locks her in or out at will. Strange crawling noises, a mechanical voice and menacing shadows reinforce Alice's oppressive feeling that she is not alone.
MADS director David Moreau serves us an intense horror thriller that plunges us into the dizzying abysses of human existence. He subjects his heroine, played by Marvel star Olga Kurylenko, to an ordeal characterized by pain, rage, loss and paranoia.
