Ottolien - Im Schutz der Nacht Tour 2026

After a successful tour and releases in 2025, OTTOLIEN are now making a brilliant return with the announcement of their second own 'Im Schutz der Nacht' tour. The indie pop duo will be performing in six cities in October 2026. A special highlight is the preceding open-air show in Hanover as part of the Summer Nights in the Garden Theater of the Herrenhausen Gardens on 08.08.26. Radical tenderness will once again be celebrated here in a spectacular setting.

After the debut album 'WIR TUN UNS SO GUT WEH' (2023) and the second album 'Bleib Lieb' (2025), the brothers have firmly established themselves in the German-speaking indie scene. Numerous festival shows, including at the Southside Festival, Reeperbahn Festival, c/o pop Festival, Nürnberg Pop, Blaumachen or KiezKultur Festival, support shows for soffie, Michél von Wussow, error or Trille and several home shows at the always packed Musikzentrum Hannover: OTTOLIEN are stronger on the map than ever and want more.

More attitude, more feeling, away from genre boundaries.

Just six months after the release of their last album 'Bleib Lieb', the two are back in the midst of the creative process and are busy releasing new songs. Such as the new single 'Stark', for which they have enlisted interdisciplinary support: Together with artist and author Tschief, a song about winter depression, fragile hope and the longing for the moment when spring finally "strikes" was created in a spontaneous session. Between cracked hearts, the last of their strength and a stable lateral position, the three write an honest hymn to their own weakness - and to the courage to love themselves. Musically, it remains typical OTTOLIEN: direct lyrics, emotional images and an atmosphere between melancholy and departure. In addition, the second 'Im Schutz der Nacht' tour has now been announced, which impressively shows that Ottolien still have big plans for 2026.

OTTOLIEN are the brothers Leo and Jonas. One is a producer, rapper and beat maker and the other a cerebral lyricist and guitarist. In their lyrics, double rhyme structures meet a visual language that does not shy away from any pop-cultural reference. OTTOLIEN fly inland by hanging from a windmill, manage to use the word "Jack Wolfskin jacket" lyrically and are always wonderfully self-deprecating. They almost casually write their Easter Eggs lyrics on great melodies that you never want to get rid of. OTTOLIEN take the listener into their family, whose musical family tree should consist of WIR SIND HELDEN, BOSSE and CASPER.
