Owing To The Rain is an affair of the heart of four thoroughbred musicians with the most diverse musical influences. United by their shared love of alternative rock, they have created a special sound with fluid genre boundaries.

In the very first year after forming in 2015, they wrote their own songs and played rousing shows in front of a rapidly growing fanbase. After invitations to festivals in Switzerland and Poland, they shone as representatives of southern Germany in the world final of the world-renowned Emergenza band contest at the Taubertal Festival in 2016 with a sensational 8th place. They won the coveted title of "Heimatkönig 2018" in Munich at the prestigious band competition organized by the radio station Rock Antenne and the Münchner TZ. They impressively confirmed this crowning in the same year with an incomparable show on the Theatron Seebühne at Munich's Olympic Park.

After releasing two singles in 2023, the band used the past year to produce a new EP, which was released in winter 2024. Now the boys are ready to bring the new material to the live stages in 2025 with a rousing show.
