Oxana Matiychuk: Literatur im/vom Krieg. Ein Bericht aus Tscherniwzi

This post from January 7, 2025 is on the Facebook profile of Inga Keyvan,

the poet from Chernivtsi who read at the globale° festival in Bremen in 2023,

pinned. This phrase, based on William James, stands for Inga's existential decision: in January, she volunteered for the military. This makes her one of the Ukrainian authors who have opted for the most radical and effective form of resistance.

In doing so, she - like many other cultural workers in action - is also preserving her literary voice. The lecture will focus on how writers at the front articulated their war experiences.
