Nine days to go until Zeko sees Hassan again, the beloved son of a dog. Time enough for online dating and sex, for her best friend, for memories of her childhood in multiple cultures, of her grandparents and their stories, of first dates, moments of happiness and hurt and, again and again, of Hassan. Time for dreams and plans too. Zeko wants to count Hassan's moles, ben burada ben orada, put crabs in his thick chest hair, wash his socks.
