𝐏𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐕𝐞𝐢𝐧 is darker 𝑫𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒎 𝑷𝒐𝒑 𝒛𝒘𝒊𝒔𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝑷𝒔𝒚𝒄𝒉 𝑾𝒂𝒗𝒆, 𝑮𝒓𝒖𝒏𝒈𝒆 𝒖𝒏𝒅 𝑺𝒉𝒐𝒆𝒈𝒂𝒛𝒆 - written, performed and produced by Andrea "Fox" Volpato, who used to tour halfway around the world with New Candys and MØAA and is now creating his own universe. The debut "Dripping Only Black" (WWNBB / AWAL, 2024) is an uncompromising solo statement: every guitar, every drum pattern, every voice from his hand, recorded somewhere between Venice and Seattle.

Live, this is anything but a bedroom introvert: Volpato comes with a routine from festivals such as SXSW, Levitation France or Psycho Vegas and a vita in which 𝑫𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒚 𝑾𝒂𝒓𝒉𝒐𝒍𝒔, 𝑩𝒍𝒂𝒄𝒌 𝑨𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒍𝒔, 𝑩𝑱𝑴, 𝑺𝒉𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒂𝒄 𝒐𝒅𝒆𝒓 𝑹𝒆𝒇𝒖𝒔𝒆𝒅 do not appear on the record shelf, but in the backstage. "Lay Down", "Where Is My Soul?", "My Well" or his celebrated Nirvana cover "Something In The Way" are set to become a dense, heavy maelstrom in the Ostpol.

The evening is part of his first EU/UK tour around the next Painted Vein chapter - small stage, big sound, exactly the setting in which such projects work most intensively. So if you only want to take in one concert with fuzzy guitars, flickering lights and serious songwriting in February, then ... Recommendation... this one!
