Parkour is the name for a particularly creative type of locomotion technique. The FLINTA* training invites all women, lesbians, intersex, non-binary, trans, agender and asexual people to get a taste of the sport of parkour together, to explore and develop their existing skills.
The aim of parkour is to get from point A to point B in an urban space as efficiently as possible using only the skills of your own body. In the media, traceurs (parkour runners) are often associated with spectacular jumps at dizzying heights. However, parkour is not about daredevilry, but about realistic risk assessment and absolute control of your own body. It's about overcoming obstacles with a precision landing.
The 600 m² outdoor facility on the coking plant site is open to the public and regularly offers training sessions for different groups and with different focuses. An overview of the training courses can be found here.
