Parkour is the name for a particularly creative type of locomotion technique. The course consists of different combinations of cubes, poles and wall surfaces. Mobility training is open to beginners and advanced participants who want to work out, improve their mobility and learn the basics for healthy and effective muscle building.
The aim of parkour is to get from point A to point B in an urban space as efficiently as possible using only the abilities of your own body. In the media, traceurs (parkour runners) are often associated with spectacular jumps at dizzying heights. However, parkour is not about daredevilry, but about realistic risk assessment and absolute control of your own body. It's about overcoming obstacles with a precision landing.
The 600 m² outdoor facility on the coking plant site is open to the public and regularly offers training sessions for different groups and with different focuses. An overview of the training courses can be found here.
