The singer, musician and lyricist Pascal Finkenauer has been releasing albums and EPs for years, which are characterized by their stylistic diversity and special lyrics. He usually records his music alone, sometimes accompanied by the live band "Das Licht". He releases through his own label, writes and produces himself and works independently wherever possible. Accordingly, his music has also developed in an unhindered creative flow - versatile and varied: punk-chanson, beatnik-rock'n'roll, singer-songwriter-wave, psychedelic poetry-slam-folk, are terms that have already been used to describe his style.

With his very own combination of music and lyrics, Pascal Finkenauer serves a broad spectrum of emotional states, ranging from energetic outbursts to soulful ballads. Despite his recurring penchant for great melodies, his repertoire as a whole also contains a number of offbeat songs that defy the mainstream, breaking new ground in the pop context.

In his acoustic solo shows, Pascal impresses with sharp-edged observations, lyrics set to music and rebellious departures in songs such as "Spinnen", "Scherben" or "Verrosteter Revolver", where he sings with versatility, accompanying himself on the guitar.
Pascal Finkenauer, who now lives in Hamburg after spending his youth in Lüneburg, began releasing music as a teenager. Coming from the local post-hardcore/punk scene, he was the singer and guitarist of the electro collective JAW, which was successful in alternative and indie music circles, as well as the highly acclaimed punk duo THE BLACK CHERRIES.

He has been active as a solo artist since 2005 and releases his music primarily via his own label. He also publishes poetry and texts that are not related to his music via his poetry blog and self-publishing. His latest album "ZOO BLUE" was released in March 2025.
