Our Music Monday at the Seecafé
Live music, drinks and a good atmosphere

Every second Monday of the month, the Seecafé at the DJH Resort Neuharlingersiel becomes a musical meeting place. From 7 to 9 p.m., regional and national acts bring musical diversity to the stage - from rock and pop to jazz, folk and singer-songwriters.

PATRICK SHURETY

Deeply rooted in Celtic folk, but always open to new influences from blues, prog rock and pop, Patrick Shurety writes songs about empty streets full of memories, about self-doubt, optimism, exploitation and the little people behind the fame of those who made history. However, this rarely sounds angry or sad, but sometimes soft and warm like a blanket, sometimes rocky and playful with unexpected twists and turns.

Patrick Shurety has been on the road around his base in Bielefeld for several years now, over 10 years as frontman of the cover band b-sides live, and currently as singer, songwriter and guitarist of the Neighbourhood Blues Band. Every now and then, a rather electronic song by Social Android pops up on various streaming services, then it must have been bad weather again...

And he always likes to play solo in pubs, small clubs and at private events.
The program is always adapted a little to the audience, with individually interpreted cover versions from radio pop, blues and the various facets of folk. There are always notes and pens ready for requests from the audience. Sometimes the Toten Hosen follow Louis Armstrong, Metallica follow John Denver...you'll never know...

Or to put it another way: Christy Moore, Leonard Cohen and Paul Simon. Plus a pinch of Mark Knopfler, David Gilmour and a little dash of Jean Michel Jarre (or Klaus Schulze). This is left to simmer for a long time under the supervision of Yes and IQ and sent around the country for a few years.
