PAVLOV'S DOG - Prog legend live in Europe 2025

There is music that lasts for generations - "Pampered Menial" by Pavlov's Dog is one such masterpiece. Since 1972, the band from St. Louis, Missouri has been shaping progressive rock with its unique blend of rock, folk, classical and pomp. David Surkamp's unmistakable falsetto voice hovers above it all, shaping the band's sound to this day. Songs like "Julia" are classics that have lost none of their magic to this day. Mellotron, violin, acoustic and electric guitars create soundscapes between hard rock and dreamy melodies. The band has undergone several personnel changes over the decades without losing its style - Surkamp remains the charismatic core, violinist Abbie Sterling inspires with her virtuosity.

After a long break, the band returned in the 90s - and has been successfully touring Europe again since the 2000s. The album "Prodigal Dreamer", released in 2018, was celebrated and showed that Pavlov's Dog is not a retro act, but living music history. In 2025, the band returns to European stages with a new album - accompanied by the re-release of their back catalog by Ruf Records. An event for old and new fans alike.
