Peter und der Wolf - Ein musikalisches Märchen von Sergej Prokofjew

Sergei Prokofiev's musical narrative theater is full of wit, suspense and sound colors. In this chamber music arrangement, the woodwind ensemble ripa musica and narrator Hanna Margarete Schilling from Märchenforum Hamburg bring the work to the stage in a lively and entertaining way. With flute, clarinet, oboe, bassoon and horn, every character is brought to life - from the fluttering bird to the menacing wolf.

The version arranged by Gerhard Buchner shows the versatility of the woodwinds and combines them with Schilling's pointed narrative style to create a humorous, exciting performance - classical music with a difference: approachable, rousing and full of subtle nuances.
