Pound is a unit. Not only a unit of measure, but also and above all the unit of four guys who, in addition to their friendship, are closely connected by one thing in particular: a heavy tendency towards earthy and honest music with a powerful sound.

This is precisely why their set lists include heavyweights of rock. It's all about music from the last four decades, from The Police, the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Kings Of Leon to Oasis, Green Day and Jimi Hendrix to Revolverheld, The Killers and Nirvana. The somewhat different mainstream, daringly powerful and full of energy.

Pound's drums, guitar, bass and vocals form a sound that captures and unleashes people at both small club gigs and large open-air events. The band's auteastic dynamics can be felt right down to the last rows at any size of concert.

Since the beginning of 2009, the four-man band has built up a considerable fan base in a very short space of time.

Why? Because PFUND love and live rock'n'roll, because they are authentic, because they always create a sweaty atmosphere in the audience and because you can't miss the fact that they simply really enjoy what they do.
