On stage, Fleiter talks about an exciting real criminal case that gives the audience the feeling of being involved in the investigation themselves. Philipp Fleiter was born in East Westphalia and wanted to present "Wetten, dass ...?" as a child. Instead, he studied education and psychology and worked as a radio journalist and presenter after graduating. In 2019, he launched the podcast "Verbrechen von nebenan", which quickly became one of the most successful German podcasts. Fleiter hosted his own TV adaptation of his format on SKY. His books published in 2021 and 2023 both landed on the SPIEGEL bestseller list immediately after their publication. As an expert on crime, Philipp Fleiter is a welcome guest on TV and other podcasts. He lives in Gütersloh.
