PINOCCHIO - Das Kindermusical

In the organizer's words:

What adventures Pinocchio is having! He was just a wooden puppet and now he is to become a real boy. The woodcarver Gepetto once carved him out of a log of pine wood.

When he decides to sell the life-size doll at the market, the fairy godmother Antonella brings the wooden figure to life without further ado.

But being a real boy is not so easy. You have to go to school and go on adventures. And there's one thing you can't do: lie! Pinocchio has his difficulties with this. How can he always be honest when he is repeatedly lured into a trap by the cunning fox Amadeo and the forgetful tomcat Cerubino? In order not to make his father sad, Pinocchio invents a tiny little thing here and there, but you can see his fibs on his nose.

Pinocchio has to overcome all kinds of obstacles to fulfill his most fervent wish of becoming a real boy. His exciting journey takes him to the theater, across golden fields and into dark corners, and he meets real friends as well as deceitful characters. Until, while searching for his father Gepetto, a huge whale swallows him up...

Carlo Collodi's world-famous story of Pinocchio, the little wooden puppet whose nose gets longer and longer as he fibs, is well over a hundred years old. With lots of fun, plenty of poetry and the wonderful melodies of renowned singer-songwriter Konstantin Wecker, this musical by successful playwright Christian Berg takes you on a journey through the story of the little puppet who comes to life and has to endure all kinds of adventures.
