Type happens!

The Typo! letterpress printing workshop is all about letters. Using movable type, a typesetting box and a printing press, you will design your own typographic poster - from the initial idea to the finished print. There are no limits to your creativity: We experiment with type, form and composition and work entirely to the rhythm of typography.

Typesetting - Saturday, 30.5.2026

Whether it's your own texts, those of a famous writer or simply a special word, together we will bring everything into the typesetting frame and create the basis for your poster.

Printing - Sunday, 31.5.2026

Now it's time to print! The typeset poster is now put on paper and can be reproduced as desired.

The workshop takes place on Saturday from 2 to 5 pm and Sunday from 11 am to 2 pm in the printing workshop of the Young Museum Frankfurt.
