With the help of commercially available toys - soldiers and tanks, Barbie dolls and cuddly toys - Ariel Doron takes the piss out of media-staged heroism. The children's room becomes a theater of war, the innocence of play meets the reality of adults.

Plastic Heroes is a surprising, funny and fast-paced collage of war imagery and manages to deal with tough and painful themes while offering the audience a funny, wild and refreshing puppetry experience.
