Platzhirsch präsentiert: AFAR im Museum Küppersmühle

AFAR live is a special experience: the duo combines magnetic presence, hypnotizing voices and otherworldly synthesizers to create a performance that feels both intimate and powerful.

This fall, they will go on tour with their upcoming album "Changing Rules". "Changing Rules" is their third studio album - a sonic manifesto of presence, eruption and resistance. Psychedelic krautwave wrapped in analog warmth, raw guitar stabs and machine-driven pulse. A romantic revolt against noise for all those who still yearn for the real thing.

A special highlight of the day will be an auction of photos from our Manfred Vogel exhibition:

Platzhirsch 2025 honors Manfred Vogel, one of Duisburg's most important artists. In addition to some of his unknown original sketches, the retrospective paid tribute to his work with newly designed exhibits: Twelve Polaroid photos and a large-format photograph were created to interpret his mammoth work in the "Rathaus" subway station.

These original works, which were produced exclusively in an edition of one, will be auctioned off to the highest bidder at the AFAR concert at the Küppersmühle Museum on October 25. 100% of the proceeds will go towards the promotion of Duisburg culture.
