Poetry All Stars #30 – Bielefelds spektakulärer Poetry Slam!

The upcoming edition of East Westphalia's big traditional poetry slam festival, on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, starting at 8 pm in the Lokschuppen Bielefeld, will once again be a top-class slam revue!

Once again, some of the best German-speaking spoken word stars will be guests - including German champions, state champions and other winners of high-quality slam competitions - to compete for the title of "Poetry All Star" and thus the "Golden Leineweber"!

The high-class line-up:

Among others, the reigning German champion Anuraj Sri Rajarajendran, who is also the current champion and title holder in Rhineland-Palatinate, will be taking part.

The successful author Johannes Floehr, winner of the Best of Slam in the Elbphilharmonie, finalist of the Bielefeld Cabaret Prize and the prestigious Prix Pantheon cabaret prize as well as winner of the Hamburg Comedy Cup, is also among the contenders. Slam poet Dilara Yüksek, who was crowned state champion of North Rhine-Westphalia in 2024 and previously shone as a finalist in the Lower Saxony-Bremen championships, will also be at the start. Julian Großmann, a two-time finalist at the Berlin-Brandenburg Championships in 2024 and 2025, also demonstrates his talent as an up-and-coming stage character in German poetry slam.

After the previous high-class editions, the traditional cultural event is now being continued. The great texts of the artists, in conjunction with the enthusiastic audience, shows that there is no substitute for entertaining culture and a thrilling live experience!

For decades, the "Poetry All Stars" have been a permanent fixture for OWL's poetry slam fans, who will once again experience rousing stage literature with performance and spectacular exchanges of words in the 30th edition. Whether funny or serious, the boundaries between cabaret, comedy, rap and poetry are fluid. This guarantees a unique slam revue with a competitive character, where the audience will decide the winner of the evening!
