Poetry Slam im Metropolis Kino Bochum – Christmas-Special

The poetry slam at the Metropolis cinema in Bochum is entering its next round - and this time the theme is obvious: because of course we're devoting ourselves entirely to the upcoming Christmas season! With stories about the festive season - with everything that goes with it, and whatever this time means to us. We can expect high-flying emotions, deepe moments - and certainly some hearty, liberating laughs. The show starts on November 28, 2025 at 7.30 pm.

So that you can rely on a varied and all-round successful slam show, we have invited four selected artists from the Ruhr area and the wider region to compete against each other with their texts in a double preliminary round under the moderation of Essen poetry slammer Marius Hanke alias Zwergriese . As is usual in a poetry slam, you will of course have a say in which two of them are allowed to perform a third time in the final round. You therefore have a direct influence on who will perform a third text - and therefore generally on how the evening develops.
