Portmanteau - that's beat-heavy electronic music with live drums.

Somewhere between hip-hop, glitch and indietronic, the duo from Munich have been reinventing themselves time and again for 20 years now. Greulix Schrank (Die Schweisser) and Taison Heiß (Lali Puna) were recently guests at the Westtorhalle with their theater piece "Alan Mensch Maschine" and during Corona with their machine exhibition "Portmanteaulabs".

Now they are bringing their latest double album "essence of absence" live to the stage. Including the light and sound installation. And the whole thing in their core competence as musicians. In their living room and test laboratory. The Westtorhalle.

Experimental electronics meets drums. Danceable. Celebratable.
