Preisverleihung 5. Chemnitzer Märchenwettbewerb

Let yourself be whisked away to the fairytale side of Chemnitz!

The fifth Chemnitz Fairy Tale Competition 2025 was completely new in many respects: new editor, new jury, new prizes!

The result is four stories by authors between the ages of 18 and 44 that show Chemnitz from its most enchanting, magical and sometimes enchanted side.

On December 6, the fifth Chemnitz fairytale book will celebrate its premiere in the Chemnitz University Library. You can look forward to:

• Readings from the fairy tales
• Talks with the jury and illustrator
• Craft and play corner for children
• Book table with signing opportunities
• and lots of Christmas surprises!

Admission is free of charge. Registration is requested due to the limited number of places.
