About the play
It is a post-apocalyptic world in which two clown-like figures are wandering around in search of a tree. They are hungry, thirsty and tired, almost at the end of their tether. Finally, they find what they have been desperately searching for: the miracle tree that carries chalk.
Things that are drawn with this chalk on a blackboard instantly become reality. With the first things, they satisfy their basic needs: Bread to eat and water to drink. However, their desires increase to the point of abundance, but envy and jealousy also grow between them. They create weapons and then even more weapons, while the chalk becomes less and less. A catastrophe seems inevitable...
