"tutti insieme" is a cooperation project between the Krefeld Refugee Council and Werkhaus/Südbahnhof and makes theater with people from here and elsewhere. The new production is entitled "KussKuss - werwannwiewo" and explores the cultural techniques that we learn over the course of a lifetime and that make us who we are and who we want to become.
Where and how do we learn to celebrate, dance, talk and argue with each other?
Which stories shape the way we think and feel, who puts us to bed, explains table manners and shows us how to go for a walk.
And what happens when we dare to go a little further than seems permissible.
KussKuss wants to invite us to say goodbye to old ideas and rules and say "hello and welcome" to new ideas and actions.
The experiences, adventures and stories of seventeen people from six different nations aged between 10 and 87 formed the basis for the joint theater work on this new play.
On Saturday 25.10.2025, 19:00 we will celebrate the premiere at Südbahnhof Krefeld, Saumstraße 9.
The play will then be shown in Krefeld and the surrounding area for at least a year. It is designed in such a way that numerous guest performances should be possible.
