Luisa has recently moved out of home and is curious to see what life has in store for her. She loves parties, is always up for a bit of fun, gets involved in flirtations and little adventures. She lives in a residential group in a facility for people with disabilities on the outskirts of a small German town, where she receives support in her often turbulent everyday life. Unnoticed, Luisa becomes increasingly quiet, while everyday life goes on in the residential group - until it is discovered that Luisa is pregnant. Luisa herself does not say how this happened - she remains silent. Sexual abuse is suspected. Luisa decides to have the pregnancy terminated. The police are called in. The investigation becomes an endurance test for Luisa, for her relationship with her boyfriend Anton and for the entire staff of the residential facility.

The screenplay was written by Julia Roesler and Silke Merzhäuser on the basis of months of research in residential facilities for people with disabilities. In addition to the individually moving story of the young resident Luisa, the structures that enable the extremely high number of cases of abuse against women with disabilities are also to be shown. The script was developed in collaboration with the inclusive ensemble "Meine Damen und Herren" from Hamburg, some of whose actors are also part of the cast. Together, the characters were developed in such a way that they became playable for the actors both in terms of their own artistic and content-related ideas and with regard to existing barriers. The equal cast of ten actors with (including the main character) and ten actors without disabilities is a novelty in German feature film production.
