An evening about form, light and material - at Studio Thorsten Gambalat in Düsseldorf.

Thorsten Gambalat, product designer and artist, opens his studio for a special session between design, technology and atmosphere. The focus will be on 3D printing as a creative tool for contemporary design - demonstrated live on professional Bambu Lab printers.

Instead of theory or workshops, the focus is on the experience: seeing, understanding and experiencing design. While the objects are created layer by layer, music and conversation will be playing and drinks will be available - an evening where design becomes tangible.

At the end, you will take home a small light object - a piece of design that was created that evening.

Thorsten Gambalat is a product designer and artist from Düsseldorf. His work moves between art, technology and material research and has been nominated for the Dezeen Award 2024, among others.
