PROTOMARTYR "10 YEARS - THE AGENT INTELLECT" + REAL FARMER

The soundtrack to the post-apocalypse has a name: Protomartyr are returning to Germany in November 2025 to celebrate the tenth anniversary of their third album "The Agent Intellect".

Protomartyr have released six albums since their formation in 2010. This massive output has made them an institution in over ten years of band history: they cite bands such as IDLES, Shame and The Devil Wears Prada as influences. Kelley Deal from The Breeders accompanied Protomartyr as a live member on tour. Iggy Pop called the band "the best band we've got in America right now" - the list goes on and on. The bottom line is that Iggy Pop is most probably right: Protomartyr deliver absolutely stylish, dark and melancholic post-punk that is performed live with all the power a four-piece band can muster: Dark, distorted guitars (Greg Ahee) roll forward wave after wave, singer Joe Casey shouts his reverb-soaked frustration into the audience - the whole thing resting on a perfectly realized foundation of bass (Scott Davidson) and drums (Alex Leonard). Protomartyr sound unflinchingly harrowing, as if they've come to stay.

Once again, you have the chance to experience a pillar of modern post-punk live - Protomartyr prove this once again in Berlin and Münster.
