Wax Minds from Bremen are four people who have long since lost their minds somewhere in a smoky garage and are now pumping out eggy garage punk that will fry your synapses. They deliver a weird, unpolished thunderstorm of sound that feels like a fever dream and will linger in your bones for a long time.

No Sugar are celebrating the release of their second album "Last Call" (which was released in 2025 but could not be played live in 2025 due to 2! consecutive broken elbows! Let's go!) ! No Sugar is all about the power of a handful of chords and the eternal temptations of rock'n'roll as an outlet or form of expression for dancing on the edge.

No Sugar

No Sugar emerged from the ashes of several DIY punk groups from HH and Kiel - No Weather Talks, Stumbling Pins and Plastic Propaganda - at the end of 2017. No Sugar is all about the power of a handful of chords, eyeliner and the eternal temptations of rock'n'roll. In terms of content, it is made unmistakably clear that the party only works when muckraking is kicked out. However, No Sugar prefer to celebrate the dance on the abyss with rock'n'roll metaphors rather than raising their index finger. Musically, influences from the last 5 decades of pop and punk culture, from Joan Jett and Bikini Kill to The Bronx and Hot Snakes to The Donnas or The Subways are used. Last Call, an album title that is better known in colloquial English from the catering context: last call, as it is called when one last round can be ordered in the pub just before closing time. No Sugar's Last Call is about the urgency with which we want to devote our attention and critical energy to issues such as climate change, social exclusion, marginalization based on categories such as gender, nationality or skin color, the growing influence of right-wing, fascist or conservative movements and parties or simply our own demoralization or burnout and still want to carry on, but are not always able to do so. Keeping an eye on one's own limits and privileges and at the same time being attentive and - by whatever means - active, being involved: Last Call is about the different perspectives of such an attitude and these confrontations. The album was released in June 2025 via Sabotage Records, Ladies & Ladys Label and La Agonía de Vivir.

Born in a swimming pool in the summer of 2024 in the south of France. Guitar, bass, synth. Cheap e-drums from a can. Nagging, roaring, droning. Foam at the mouth. Short, blunt lyrics that barely hint at dissatisfaction with the prevailing conditions. With people whose faces you're guaranteed to have seen before in Hamburg's DIY punk swamp. Recommended for fans of Satanic Togas, Gee Tee, Billiam and the like!
