Put the Needle on the Record is an event for those who like to dig deeper - for those who love listening to the sound of vinyl records and who are passionate about Funk and everything that has evolved from it. It's for those who love to rock the dance floor to a brain-freezing drum break, groove along with a smooth disco bassline, shake their hips to some tropical flavors, or bounce their heads to some old-school rap.

DJ Suspect, a member of the prestigious 45 Live and Dusty Donuts collectives, has been traveling the globe for over 20 years with his record crates.
From Los Angeles to Ibiza, via London and Sydney, he sets the stage wherever he goes.
Equally at home with House, Hip-Hop, Soul, Disco, Afrobeat, Brazilian music, and other grooves of all kinds, his sets are in the direct lineage of DJs like Kenny Dope, DJ Spinna, and Cut Chemist.
He has collaborated with renowned labels (Bbe, Heavenly Sweetness, Chinese Man Records) and produced for hip-hop legends (Large Professor, Diamond D, Sadat X, Gift of Gab).
After recently releasing a double vinyl on Unique Records with his Berlin-based partner Marc Hype, he is currently working on a double vinyl release that will be released in the near future on Heavenly Sweetness.

Munich-based DJ and co-founder of the collectives Feelgood Selection (2012) and KREW (2016), Dr. Getdown has been delighting audiences for more than a decade with an exquisite selection from his vinyl collection, featuring records from all corners of our beautiful planet. With a focus on the FUNK, he fuses diverse musical styles to create a unique and uplifting mix.
As a promoter, he has organized numerous events for both collectives, hosting acclaimed artists such as DJ Koco aka Shimokita (JP), DJ Suspect (FR), DJ Static & Prof. Groove (WEFUNK Radio, CA), Femdelic, Marc Hype, C:MONE, Hodini aka Hulk Hodn, and many more.

With his passion for music starting at a young age in the early 90s, Vio used to rewind cassettes using a pencil to protect his father's cassette player. After going through CDs and mp3s, he was lucky enough to meet his brother from another mother UFe, who infected him with the virus of collecting vinyl records. Now he'll show you the latest vinyl releases ranging from funk & soul to hip-hop, disco, afro & world music with every chance he gets, be it at the Steinerne Bank in Englischer Garten with Florian Keller's Munich Smallest Sound System or at Electric Castle festival in Romania
