Quartetto Barinetto

4 musicians - 20 instruments: jazz and much more. Unplugged, cleverly arranged and in a wide variety of line-ups

The quartet takes its name from the warm sound of four baritone saxophones, which the ensemble members have fallen in love with. However, they also perform in a variety of other combinations of clarinets, flutes and saxophones.

Stylistically, jazz is at the heart of the repertoire, with particular emphasis on ensemble playing and sophisticated, always original arrangements. The musicians also make frequent excursions into other areas, such as film music, modern folk, minimal music and much more.

Quartetto Barinetto plays exclusively without amplification, which also guarantees an unadulterated sound experience at a performance venue such as the Machwerk.
