Have you always wanted to get a few tips on creative writing? Perhaps you already have experience and would like to broaden your horizons? Or are you curious about what can be done with language?

In a three-hour workshop with slam poet and presenter Kim Catrin, you can try things out and exchange ideas with like-minded people. There will be writing, reading, performing and, of course, extensive feedback!

And who is actually giving the workshop?
Essen-based slam poet Kim Catrin has been performing on stage since 2016. She has collected around 900 performances, traveled the whole country and competed in various slam championships and finals. She won the international Euregio Champion title in 2022 and the bronze medal at the NRW championship in 2023.

The event series is sponsored by the City of Bochum, the Mülheim an der Ruhr Cultural Office, the Arcus Foundation and the Ruhr Regional Cultural Program of the Ministry of Art and Science of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia.
