In the organizer's words:

Multi-instrumentalist Graham Jonson from Portland, Oregon, creates vibrant, unpredictable psych-pop under the name quickly, quickly. Pitchfork featured him in a Rising feature for his "strikingly original" 2021 debut album The Long and Short of It, highlighting the "Technicolor world" of his basement studio Kenton Sound.

Released in April 2025, the album I Heard That Noise conveys the intimacy of folk songwriting through adventurous sound design: present guitars and piano sounds, sudden chord changes and distortion reminiscent of influences from Phil Elverum, Dijon and Nick Drake. The music moves from gentle ballads to explosive crescendos, always carried by Jonson's sense of melody and atmosphere.

quickly, quickly brings these contrasts to the stage with a warm, atmospheric performance - equal parts hi-fi precision and homemade energy, inviting the audience to an ambitious, intimate and surprising set.
