What's next for Syria - politically, socially and in human terms? More than a decade after the start of the conflict, the country remains characterized by insecurity, economic and humanitarian hardship and profound social challenges. Nevertheless, the global public is once again looking towards Syria after the political "Assad era"; where stories of resilience and fragile hope are now germinating. The event dares to take a new look at Syria as well as an intimate, deep insight into the reality of a Syrian family's life in December 2025, which is representative of many Syrian fates.

The artworks in the exhibition are available for purchase. It is also possible to donate directly. We are students and share our student budget with our family every month. We would now like to break out of this cycle of dependency and provide the family with a sustainable source of income, but we can't do it alone: We want to collect donations for them so that they can buy a car to generate their own income with transportation services so that the many young girls can go to school.
